NSSAC Psychoeducational Assessment Centre

Dr. Sarah Greer is a Registered Psychologist working in the field of clinical neuropsychology. She aims to provide person-centred, collaborative and holistic assessments where the individual, and possibly their family, feels heard and respected. She offers psychoeducational assessments for adults (19 years or older), and has experience in assessing high-functioning individuals (giftedness in adults), ADHD and learning disabilities. Dr. Greer can also provide assessments following sports injury, i.e. concussions, and make recommendations regarding rehabilitation. She feels strongly about providing assessments with clear recommendations that are functionally relevant for the individual, and ecologically relevant for their situation in life.

Dr. Greer follows a biopsychosocial approach and uses a multi-modal method of gathering data for assessments. She also provides more in-depth neuropsychological assessments for individuals who have suffered brain injuries or other neurological disorders. She has experience in a variety of health care service settings, including Concussion/Mild Traumatic Brain Injury, Inpatient Brain Injury, Stroke Rehabilitation and complex Dementia.

Dr. Greer has specialized training in clinical neuropsychology and received a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Oxford. She completed a 1-year residency in Brain Injury and Neurology at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital in the United Kingdom, and worked previously as a neuropsychologist for Vancouver Coastal Health at Richmond Hospital and Vancouver General Hospital, BC. She provides neuropsychological assessments for workers who are injured on the job through WorkSafeBC and Headwise, in partnership with Back in Motion. She is also an instructor at Kwantlen Polytechnic University, where she teaches Neuropsychology and Psychopathology.
